T2 - My Life with Pit Bulls

In 2008, my husband Chris and I adopted our first pit bull, Toni. A little more than a year later, we brought home Téa, also a pit bull, as a foster dog. We never gave her back. This is a little insight into what life is like with Toni and Téa and what it really means to own pit bulls. (FYI: it's nothing like what you read in the news.)

How we became diehard pit bull fans

A Confessed Pit Bull Addict
Chris and I grew up with dogs. We had no idea that bringing home a pit bull is more than bringing home a dog - it's bringing home a culture, an icon (respected and reviled) and a secret society membership, all wrapped up in a shiny fur coat.
